Thanks to ample sunshine and any fogginess staying at bay, the temperature at Rockford climbed to 52°!
And if one record weren't enough, we may manage to at least tie another. Tuesday's record high is 56°. All signs point to the Rock River Valley climbing well into the 50s that day. I'm currently going with a forecast high of 56°. Since we're still a few days out, I'm not quite comfortable forecasting a record-breaking high. That said, I won't be surprised if that number sneaks upward a little over the next couple of days. Regardless, it'll be very warm!

Now that we have had this springlike weather and the snow has melted lets get another major snowstorm and cover the ground up again until early march, then it can all melt and spring can come. I was amazed how many people I saw come into our store today with shorts and sandals.
How dare you say that tony lol
I wouldnt mind another snowstorm, but i dont really want it to stick around too long. Its so mean of mother nature to trick us like this. It feels so springy today but its going to get cold...
